In Florida, it’s actually not required for business owners to have security cameras. However, if they have had crimes happen in a location which would be considered a condition or situation that they knew of or should have known of that, well, basically it was dangerous to their customers and other people, then something to be considered in determining whether they were negligent in their handling of security would be whether they had security cameras or not. It wouldn’t be something that you could use to make a final decision, but it could be considered.
